xtrmo is our program for young people in sports area who’s getting ready to work - and make an eternal impact - wherever they go.
xtrmo comes from when we were trying to find a name that would work better in Brazil that matches our organization's name - Uttermost Sports - based in Acts 1.8: "... the uttermost (extremos in Portuguese) parts of the earth". We hope to get in the extremes areas of our world!
BACKGROUND
Working with Sport Ministry in South & North America and East Mediterranean, we've noticed a large number of young people with potential to serve God through sports. We also have seen so many open doors in restricted countries. So, we felt it was time to connect these athletes with these projects. To show them sports goes beyond competition. And that the "GO" can happens with a ball in your foot (or a tennis racquet in your hands).
