Most states require nonprofit organizations to go through a formal process of registration with the state before they can legally ask that state's residents for contributions. Because we would like everyone in the US to know about us and support us, we're going to register in every state that requires it. You can help us by covering the average cost to register (and maintain the registration) in one state...or more, of course!
